Watertown 100k: Luce Line Out-and-Back

Sunday June 28th, join shop Ambassador Andy leading an out and back lunch adventure to Watertown, MN. Meet at 9:15 and we'll start our journey by 9:30am.

Traveling the Luce Line State Trail is a great introduction for those who want to try some longer miles mixing tarmac and gravel. Enjoy the flat countryside route out for some lunch in Watertown, approximately 32 miles from the shop.

We'll spend about an hour and a half for lunch. Feel free to try La Catrina, or even just the grocery store next door.

Pace will be above average from 12-16mph. No drop ride. Full round trip is ~about 7 hours total with 64 miles traveled. Will reschedule if weather is bad.

Rice Creek Ramble!

Join Ambassador Robin for the Rice Creek Ramble, a 30-mile Adventure Ride through the Rice Creek Trail Corridor. Featuring gravel, dirt, natural scenery and abandoned roads. This self-supported ride is perfect for folks looking to expand their horizons.
Start/End: Behind Bars Bicycle Shop
When: Wednesday, May 27th, 5:30pm, roll at 6pm
Distance: 30 miles

THIS IS A DROP RIDE*

*there is no Lead or Sweep rider keeping the group together. You must be able to navigate the route on your own.

Bring lights, lock, helmet, water, snacks, tools, spare tube, rain jacket/spare layer - AKA BE PREPARED.

Ride to the RHUBARB FEST!

Long Lake Regional Park in New Brighton, MN was originally the Lakeside Berry Farm owned by the Hipp Family until the late 1970s. The New Brighton Historical Society will be hosting their 26th Annual 'Rhubarb Fest' - Join Ambassador Andy for a social ride to the festival picnic where the Key's Restaurant Rhubarb Dessert Sampler will be available for $7. Rhubarb Crisp, pie bar, ice cream, sauce, and coffee.
