This 50-mile, self-supported, mixed-terrain bicycle ride takes us into the northeast suburbs, featuring lakes, lakes, and more lakes! The route is mostly paved, with a couple miles of smooth gravel, on bike pathes an plenty of road section.
The roads in this area are generally good for riding, with decent shoulders and 30mph speed limits. Riders must be comfortable riding with car traffic. Whether you're training for a big event, or just looking for new places to explore, this area is sure to become your new favorite place to ride.

This is a "drop ride" meaning there is no lead or sweep keeping the group together. You must be able to navigate the route on your own. WQe will try to keep a pace group going at 12-14 MPH, depending on terrain and weather.
Be prepared! Carry everything you need for an adventure ride: Helmet, water, snacks, lock, lights, tools, spare tube, and rain jacket/clothing. There is a convenience store at mile 22, and a couple water/bathroom stops along the way.
Ahoy ye scurvy landlubbers! It be time for another voyage on the inland seas! Meet us at the shop on Sunday the 16th of August at 11:30PM. We'll set sail at noon with a course plotted for Sail MPLS to join them for their Free Sailiong Sunday event, where riders are invited to climb aboard a vessel for a leisurely jaunt around Bde Maka Ska. Seaworthy attire encouraged! Flotation devices provided!

Wednesday August 26th, 2026 has been chosen for the second annual 'Summer's End Potluck Picnic' where Minneapolis/St. Paul cycling community joins together to celebrate. Ambassadors Nick and Andy will lead the Northeast ride from Behind Bars Bicycle Shop.
Meeting at 6pm with a departure around 6:15pm. We'll be riding to rendezvous with the Unsanctioned Rides Group by 7pm at Bohemian Flats. Bring your favorite potluck dishes, desserts, and beverages to share. We had so much fun last year we knew we had to do it again. Everyone is welcome! Please spread the word to other cycling clubs, teams and bike shops to come join in. Let's make it another memorable year.
Bonesaw Cycling Collective is taking us to the Loppet Foundation to spectate for the Wirth on Wednesday FTWNB night!
Meet at Behind Bars at 4:45pm, rolling out at 5pm. Make sure to bring your cheering cowbells and voice!
We'll cheer on the riders and then be rolling back to Behind Bars at 7pm.
Join us for a night at The Ball Game. Ambassador MAtthew will be leading a ride to see the Saint Paul Saints take on the Columbus Clippers Friday July 24th.
Meet @ Behind Bars at 5:45pm and roll out at 6:00pm to catch the game by 7. Please acquire tickets on the Saints website or at the box office if you plan on staying for the game.
