At Behind Bars we can service just about anything on your bicycle or E Bike. With up to 25 years of professional service and training our technicians know what to look and listen for. Listed below are some common service packages and common Ala Carte services. As always the best way to find out how much your service will cost is to bring your bicycle by for a free estimate.

Like most bicycle shops in the Twin Cities area we are generally very busy from mid April to Mid September. It is not uncommon for us to be booked out from a few weeks to a couple months. We highly recommend getting services done during the off season when there is snow on the ground, this way your bike will just need some air in the tires in spring and you will be riding for miles with smiles.

All prices listed below are for reference only and can vary substantially depending on what kind of bicycle or E bike you are riding. All pricing is just Labor and does not include pricing for any needed parts, and in some cases additional labor costs, for proper completion of repairs.

Complete Tune - $95

Hub, Bottom Bracket and Headset Bearing adjustments. Off bike wheel truing, cleaning with rim and tire inspection and airing tires. Brake adjustment and pivot lubrication. Brake pads inspection and resurfacing of rim brake pads. Derailleur and shifting adjustment and pivot lubrication. Cables and housing inspected and lubricated. Chain lubrication. Frame cleaning. Steering alignment check. Bolt Check. Test ride for functionality. QC inspection preformed by an additional service technician once initial repairs are completed.

Deluxe Tune - $160

Complete tune plus removal, deep clean and re lubrication of all drive train components. This service also covers labor of any drive train component installation labor.

Tube/Tire Replacement - $15 ea.

Brake Adjustment - $15 ea.

Brake Pad Install - $20 ea.

Hydraulic Brake Bleed - $25 ea.

Mechanical Cable/Housing Install - $20 ea.

Derailleur Adjustment - $15 ea.

Wheel Building - $75 ea.

Front Suspension For 50 Hour Service - $100

Front Suspension For 200 Hour Service - $140

Rear Suspension Air Can 50 Hour Service - $90

Rear Suspension Air Can 200 Hour Service -$120

Suspension services are mostly completed in house. On rare occasions items will need to be sent in for factory service. We will do everything we can to get you the most accurate pricing details before any work commences.

We stand behind or work, yet we are only human, can make mistakes or overlook things from time to time.
