Grand Carver Caravan! June 14-16, 2024

Behind Bars' and Ambassadors present.. The Grand Carver Caravan!

A 2-night group bikepacking trip to Carver Park Reserve. A beautiful park with a multitude of ways to enjoy yourself, whether that's singletrack, swimming, or just riding around with your pals! Not to mention, the town of Victoria is just ~2 miles away for all your lunch and beverage wants and needs!

This is a trip for people of all skill levels, and is no-drop. We will actually be holding a good amount of tickets for first-time bikepackers! Though please note you will need your own tent, pad, bag, etc.

Mileage is around 30 miles to the site, and is extremely flat. We'll take the same 30-mile route back on Sunday. While we will have a SAG wagon, (Supplies and Gear), to help carry the unload-able, we do ask riders to get in the spirit and load up your bikes as best you can. If you do need something to be loaded into the truck, we also ask you to show up between 12:30pm-1pm. We will roll out at 2pm!

Always have a Plan B! While we have an access to an automobile if the need arises, it is always a good idea to have a plan to get home, whether that's a friend, taxi, family member, etc. Our support riders are there to help you keep rolling, but can't unbreak your bike or bones!

Main group will roll-out back to the cities at noon, so we do need stuff loaded back up on the trailer before then! Please keep this in mind! Check-out time is 1pm, and you are free to leave earlier or later, although you will be responsible for yourself.

We hope to see you there!

60 mile round-trip, No-Drop, relaxed pace.
